In the afternoon, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre to gain a deeper understanding of the country's past. Return to your Hotel for a relaxing evening.

Drive to Volcanoes, home to endangered mountain gorillas, and visit the Gorilla Guardian Village and the Dian Fossey Museum. Learn about the park's conservation efforts and the history of gorilla conservation, including the legendary work of Dian Fossey. Visit the Gorilla Guardian Village to see how the local community is involved in conservation efforts.

Transfer to Buhoma, a picturesque town near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and relax in the evening. Buhoma is a charming town surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. Take a stroll through the town, visit the local market, and interact with the friendly locals.

Trek to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, a truly unforgettable experience. The gorilla trekking experience will take you deep into the forest, where you'll observe these amazing creatures up close. Learn about their behavior, habitat, and conservation status from your expert guide. Take a packed lunch and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Guests not doing gorilla trekking will engage in a morning guided Rushura Hill forest walk. This is one of the famous trails used by visitors to explore the impenetrable forest. It passes through one forest shared by two countries which are Uganda and Congo, and as you walk via this trail, you will have beautiful views of Lake Edward and Lake George as well as the Rwenzori Mountains especially if it’s a clear day. You will also be able to view the conical Peaks of the Virunga volcanoes.

Withdraw and transfer back to your lodge or you might enjoy any other optional activity around Bwindi.

Transfer to Ishasha Wilderness Camp, located in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and enjoy a game drive spotting tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is known for its unique wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, leopards, and elephants. Take a game drive through the park's diverse landscapes, including savannas and forests.

Drive to Buffalo Safari Lodge, located near Queen Elizabeth National Park's Kazinga Channel, and take a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise. The game drive will take you through the park's diverse landscapes, including savannah, forests, and wetlands. Keep an eye out for the lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos to mention but a few. The boat cruise will give you a unique perspective on the park's wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Transfer to Kibale National Park, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. Kibale National Park is one of the best places in Africa to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Take a guided walk through the park's lush forests and spot other primates, including monkeys and baboons. After the walk, retire and proceed to the lodge for relaxation.
