Trek to see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, a truly unforgettable experience. The gorilla trekking experience will take you deep into the forest, where you'll observe these amazing creatures up close. Guests not doing gorilla trekking will engage in a morning guided Rushura Hill forest walk. This is one of the famous trails used by visitors to explore the impenetrable forest. It passes through one forest shared by two countries which are Uganda and Congo, and as you walk via this trail, you will have beautiful views of Lake Edward and Lake George as well as the Rwenzori Mountains especially if it’s a clear day. You will also be able to view the conical Peaks of the Virunga volcanoes.

Withdraw and transfer back to your lodge or you might enjoy any other optional activity around Bwindi.

Transfer to Kibale National Park, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. Kibale National Park is one of the best places in Africa to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
