Uganda’s 3 Day Heritage and Spirit Tour

Morning: We'll begin our historical adventure with a pick-up from your Kampala hotel (around 8:00 AM). After introductions and a briefing from our guide, we'll embark on a short journey to our first stop.

Kasubi Tombs (9:00 AM): Steeped in history, the Kasubi Tombs served as the burial grounds for Buganda's kings (Kabakas). These UNESCO World Heritage Site structures showcase traditional architectural techniques and offer a glimpse into the rich Buganda Kingdom heritage. Morning: Well-rested after a good night's sleep at your Kampala hotel, we'll fuel up with a delicious breakfast before embarking on our Day 2 adventure.

Uganda Museum (9:00 AM): Housing an extensive collection of artifacts, the Uganda Museum is a treasure trove of Ugandan history and culture. Explore exhibits showcasing traditional crafts, musical instruments, historical photographs, and ethnographic displays. Namugongo Martyrs' Shrine (9:00 AM): The Namugongo Martyrs' Shrine commemorates the courageous stand of 22 Catholic and Anglican Ugandan martyrs who were killed between 1885 and 1887 on the orders of King Mwanga II. Explore the expansive basilica, learn about the martyrs' stories, and pay your respects at the execution sites

Farewell and Departure: Following a reflective visit to the shrine, we'll return to Kampala, concluding our exploration of Uganda's historical treasures. You'll be dropped off at your hotel, or if departing, proceed to the airport for your onward journey.
