5 Days Tour Experience to Eastern Uganda

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your interests, you can choose from a variety of options, such as a traditional Ugandan breakfast with matoke (green bananas), beans, androlex (rolled chapattis with eggs), or a western-style breakfast with eggs, bacon, and toast.
After breakfast, depart for Mabira Forest, a lush rainforest located about 56 kilometers east of Kampala.
Mabira Forest is a great place to go for a nature walk, spot some of Uganda's diverse birdlife, or visit the Mabira Forest Eco-tourism Centre to learn more about the forest's ecology.
Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest or stop at a local restaurant near the Mabira Forest Lodge.

Optional Activity: In the afternoon, you can go for a guided walk through the forest with a local ranger. This is a great way to learn about the plants and animals of the forest, and to see some of the more elusive creatures.

After lunch, continue your drive to Jinja. In the afternoon, you can visit the Jinja Nile Adrenaline Center and book some exciting activities, such as white-water rafting, bungee jumping, or horseback riding.
Optional Activity: If you're not interested in adrenaline activities, you can take a boat cruise on the Nile River, visit the Jinja Museum, or explore the local markets.

This morning, depart Jinja and drive to the Source of the Nile, the point where the Nile River begins its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea.
Here, you can take a boat ride to the exact spot where the Nile emerges from Lake Victoria, visit the Speke Monument, which marks the spot where John Hanning Speke first discovered the source of the Nile, or explore the nearby waterfalls.

Afternoon: In the afternoon, you can check into your hotel in Mbale and relax for a bit. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Ugandan dinner at a local restaurant.

Morning: For our final day, we shall enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel in Mbale. Take in the views of the mountains one last time before check-out.

Departure: We shall then depart Mbale and begin our journey back to Kampala. As we wind our way through the countryside, reminisce about the amazing experiences of the past few days.

Optional Stop: Depending on the time and our interests, we could make a stop at a roadside market to pick up some last-minute souvenirs or enjoy a Ugandan coffee at a local cafe.

Kampala Arrival: We shall arrive back in Kampala in the afternoon, marking the end of our Ugandan adventure.
