Overview
Are you ready for a truly inclusive African adventure? This 8-day wheelchair accessible Rwanda–Uganda Primate Experience is designed so that travelers with mobility needs can fully experience the landscapes, culture, and wildlife of both countries without compromise.
The journey takes you through Rwanda’s breathtaking scenery and cultural encounters, as well as Uganda’s iconic Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Carefully adapted experiences include gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and Bwindi (Rushaga sector), along with chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park. Where needed, mobility support options such as a sedan chair and trained assistance are available to ensure safe, comfortable, and dignified participation throughout key trekking experiences.
Throughout the trip, you will enjoy accessible accommodations, supportive transport, and thoughtfully designed activities that prioritize comfort, safety, and full engagement across both Rwanda and Uganda.
This is more than an accessible safari. It is a meaningful cross-border experience that blends wildlife encounters, cultural immersion, and conservation storytelling, allowing every traveler to connect deeply with the people, landscapes, and spirit of East Africa.
