Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you'll be warmly welcomed and picked up by our representative. You'll then be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and get settled for the adventures ahead.

You'll depart Kigali after breakfast for a scenic drive to Nyungwe National Park, with regular breaks for stretching and rest. Along the way, visit Nyanza, the former palace of the last Rwandan king, which has wheelchair-accessible grounds and buildings. Next, stop at the Butare National Museum, which is also wheelchair accessible. After lunch, continue to Nyungwe, passing through the forest, where you may spot playful primates. Arrive at your wheelchair-accessible accommodation in time for dinner and a relaxing evening.

You'll rise early for breakfast as you go off in search of Rwanda's enigmatic and endangered chimpanzee population.

The chimpanzee trek is moderately strenuous, but accessible for travelers with mobility impairments, as adapted tracking routes are available.

With expert guidance, you'll venture into the forest to spot the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Your guide will lead you to the best locations to observe these fascinating creatures.

Even if you'd like to explore more of the park, the national park is a wonderfully diverse and accessible place that you'll get a chance to explore both in the morning in your hunt for chimpanzees and after lunch.

In the afternoon, journey to Musanze, situated on the outskirts of Volcanoes National Park, and check into your accommodation. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and recharging, enjoying a delightful dinner and a peaceful evening in preparation for the next day's adventures, including gorilla trekking or exploring the park's volcanic landscapes.

After a delightful early breakfast at your hotel, you'll embark on a journey of a lifetime to Volcanoes National Park's headquarters, where you'll meet your expert guides. Following a comprehensive briefing, you'll venture into the majestic mountain forest for a gentle and accessible gorilla tracking experience.

The easy trek, tailored to accommodate all abilities, will take you through the lush forest, where you'll have the privilege of encountering the enigmatic mountain gorillas. The park staff will provide expert support, including a strong arm to lean on or a stretcher for those who require it, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

As you find yourself in the presence of these incredible creatures, you'll be granted a rare and intimate hour of close contact. Standing mere meters away, you'll witness the gorillas' fascinating family dynamics, learning about each individual's unique personality in serene silence.

After breakfast, depart Volcanoes National Park and cross into Uganda through the Cyanika border post, continuing your journey toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the Rushaga sector. The drive passes through scenic highland landscapes, terraced hills, and rural communities, offering a beautiful transition from Rwanda into Uganda.

Upon arrival in Bwindi, check in at your selected lodge in the Rushaga sector, chosen for comfort and mobility support where available. Relax and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking experience in one of Africa’s most iconic rainforest environments.

Early in the morning, you will set off for your gorilla trekking experience in the Rushaga sector of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Guided by expert rangers, you will trek through the dense rainforest in search of a mountain gorilla family and spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat.

In the evening, continue with a Batwa cultural experience, where you will learn about the traditions, history, and forest heritage of the Batwa people through storytelling, demonstrations, and cultural interaction.

Upon arrival in Kigali, enjoy a short private city experience, including visits to selected cultural highlights such as local craft markets and the Kigali Genocide Memorial, depending on your flight schedule.

After the city tour, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your journey.
